| Birthdays/Special
Occasions |
|
| |
|
Parents should not allow their children to bring gum,
candy, or other sweets to school. The school does, however,
encourage parents to provide special treats for his/her
child's class. For example, parents may have a birthday
party for their child at school. However, all sweets
and treats must be store bought and sealed in original
packaging. Parties must be arranged with the teacher
and approved by management prior to the occasion. |

| Food
Exceptions/Allergies |
|
| |
Parents are responsible to inform the village of any
food allergies/food exceptions based on religious preferences,
or exceptions prescribed by a physician. It is the responsibility
of the
parent(s) to provide substitute foods for their child(ren),
if the required food is not available in the center.
Any reported allergies must be accompanied by a doctor's
note/certification. |
